Arthur Lavern Fox

CLAXTON: Arthur Fox, 90, passed away May 21, 2023. He was born in Wilford, Indiana, but has resided in Evans County since 1974. After high school, Arthur and his wife, Ester, joined the United States Army. He retired after more than twenty years of service. During that time, Arthur proudly served two tours in Vietnam with no injuries. He also earned his title as a Golden Glove Boxer for the Military. He was well known in his community as a friendly, kind soul.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Era K. Fox; wife, Esther H. Fox; and sister, Rosalee Sullivan.

SURVIVORS: sons, Kelly Gene (Jeannette) Fox and Kenneth Wade (Shay) Fox; daughters, Diana L. (Mike) Drozdowski and Kathy Lynn (Bertrand) Nadeau; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
