OBITUARY

CLAXTON: Bessie Edenfield, 69, passed away March 24, 2014, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. She was a native of Waycross, GA., but lived most of her life in Evans County. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and taught Sunday School Children and later was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class. Bessie loved her church family and friends and sought to be of service whenever and wherever she could.
SURVIVORS: her husband, John L. Edenfield of Claxton; one son, Joseph E. (Joey) Sapp of Columbus, GA; and several nieces and nephews.​
VISITATION: Friday, March 28, 2014, 10:00-11:00 a.m., at Eastside Baptist Church.
FUNERAL: Friday, March 28, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Eastside Baptist Church.
BURIAL: Ephesus Church Cemetery.
