CLAXTON: Billy Wayne Pittman, 79, passed away July 25, 2013, at Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, but lived most of his adult life in Claxton.
SURVIVORS: two sons, Al (Carol) Pittman of Cooperville and Wayne (Michele) Pittman of Claxton; two daughters, Billie Jean (Charles) Weathers and Cindy Alba all of Claxton; two brothers, Danny Pittman of Tulsa, OK and Gary Pittman of Arkansas; four sisters, Pat Irvin, Edna Faye Glasscock and Janice Bennett, all of Arkansas and Judy Robinson of Texas; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Saturday, July 27, 6-8:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
