Charlene Odom

CLAXTON: Charlene Hendley Odom, 86, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025 at Evans Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Charlene was born November 17, 1938 in Claxton, Georgia. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman and Carrie Todd Hendley; sister, Glenda Hendley James and niece, Teresa James.

SURVIVORS: daughter, Denise Odom (Sonja Hayman); son, Teddy Odom (Michele); grandchildren, Macy Fennell (Corey Fennell), Kristian Hayman and Zachary Hayman;great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Cade and Emersyn Fennell.

FUNERAL: Friday, February 14, 2025, 1:00, at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Elder Mike Newman.

BURIAL: Ephesus Church Cemetery.
