Christopher Blake Greene

Hillview Community: Christopher Blake Greene of Tattnall County, Georgia, passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 42. He was born in Savannah to Bobby and Gina Greene. Blake attended Pinewood Christian Academy and Claxton High School and later obtained his GED. Blake had a love of animals and cared for several dogs and cats throughout his life. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs, and he was also a NASCAR fan who enjoyed watching the races. Blake and his siblings also shared a lifelong love of watching movies and playing video games. In recent years, Blake enjoyed working on the family farm and spending his time outdoors. He appreciated the simple routines of everyday life and was happiest in the places he knew best.

Blake was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Vera Greene and Van and Melba McManus.

SURVIVORS: He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Gina Greene; his brothers, Ross Greene and his wife, Rebekah, and Grant Greene and his wife, Kati; his sister, Faith Rasmussen, and her husband, Ryan; three nieces and two nephews; his uncle and aunt, Neill and Krista McManus.

VISITATION: Tuesday, September 29, 2026, 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Mellie Nesmith Funeral Home in Claxton, Georgia.

FUNERAL: Tuesday, September 29, 2026, 1:00 P.M. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Anderson Church Cemetery, will be private.
