Connell "Connie" Clements Rogers

CLAXTON: Connell “Connie” Clements Rogers, age 75, passed away August 27, 2021 at Evans Memorial Hospital. She was born in Treutlen County, but lived in Evans County most of her life. She was a member of Claxton First United Methodist Church where she served her Lord. She was a good mother, grand mother and friend.
She was preceded by her husband, William Harold Rogers, Jr.; daughter, Deborah “Deb” Rogers; great grandchild, Camden Kirkland, parents, Hamp and Lucille Clements; brother, Fred Clements; and nephew, Greg Clements.

SURVIVORS: sons, Harold (Bridget) Rogers of Claxton, Ga. and John Rogers of Claxton, Ga.; daughter, Connie Sue Rogers of Claxton, Ga.; brother in-law, Theron (Tarry) Rogers of Fl.; sisters in-law, Laverne Crosby of Claxton, Ga., Hilda (Sam) Farrow of Savannah, Ga. and Betty Rogers of McRae, Ga.; grandchildren, Brittany Rogers and William Rogers both of Claxton, Ga.; ten great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 10am- 11am at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Thursday, September 2, 2021, 11am at Brewton Cemetery.

BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery.
