Dr. Doris Schuckler McNeal, Ph.D.
Dr. Doris McNeal, age 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, November 16th.
Dr. McNeal, born in Jaslo, Poland was a Holocaust survivor, a professor at the University of Georgia and a gourmet chef. She was preceded in death by her husband William Aaron McNeal and she is survived by her four children Joan Baize, Falls Church, VA; Lewis McNeal, Chattanooga, TN; Ann Bazemore, Collins, Ga., and Mary Wolfe, Hudson, Fl.; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Metter, Ga. on Monday, November 24th at 10:00 a.m.
