CLAXTON: Dorothy Burnsed DeLoach, 88, passed away peacefully Monday, January 2, 2023 at Evans Memorial Hospital. Dorothy dedicated her life to being a home maker and graciously became a caregiver for many family members over time. Dorothy appreciated being outdoors, gardening beautiful flowers and tending to her yard.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Goodman and Bonnie Kangeter Burnsed; husband, Floyd DeLoach; sister, Lillian Burnsed; son-in-law, Junior Tucker and daughter, Patricia Lynne Kicklighter.
SURVIVORS: daughters, Denise Tucker, Ann (Terry) Griffin and Nann (Randy) Waters, all of Claxton, Ga.; son-in-law, Deron Kicklighter, of Claxton, Ga.; five grandchildren, Jason (Becky) Tucker, of Glennville, Ga.; Misty Harvey, of Claxton, Ga.; Jessica (John) Morton, of Melissa, Tx.; Haley (Matt) DeBeltrand, of Claxton, Ga. and Philip (Adriana) Griffin, of Claxton, Ga. Seven great-grands, Allison Grace Harvey, Ethan Clay DeBeltrand, William "Will" Daniel Tucker, John Michael Morton, Jackson Mason Morton, Rynleigh Tate Griffin and Raleigh Kate Griffin.
The family would like to express special thanks to the caregivers at The Griffin House (The Journey) and Evans Memorial Hospital.

BURIAL: Groveland Cemetery in Groveland, Georgia.
