Georganne Bruce

CLAXTON: CLAXTON: Georganne Bruce, 70, passed away February 19, 2020 in her home. Anne, as she was known, was the firstborn child of George Thompson (deceased) and Frances McCumber Thompson.
She is survived by a son, Carroll Emerson and spouse Julia of Jesup; a daughter, Dainette Barrow and spouse Clay of Richmond Hill; a daughter, Glenda Antosh and spouse Shannon of Claxton; a granddaughter, Peyton Ferguson of Richmond Hill; a stepdaughter, Jacquelyn Perkins of Texas; a sister, Wynn Greene and Jerry Brown of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Anne also loved her pets like children.
She is predeceased by her favorite dog Thor, also Duke and Charlie. She is survived by Daisy, Bo, Freckles, George, Copper, and a cat called Johnny.
Private visitation will be at J. Mellie Nesmith Funeral Home on February 20, 2020, at 10 am.
