OBITUARY
CLAXTON/GLENNVILLE: Henry Leland Thompson, 59, passed away January 17, 2016, at his residence. He was a native of Evans County but lived most of his life in Tattnall County. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 2 years as an Airman. He was a lifelong painter, loved fishing, and his greatest joy were his grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Howard (Buddy) and Evelyn Thompson, four brothers, Robert, Allen, Ronald and Tony Thompson; two sisters, Doris and Becky; one niece, Amanda Emanuel; and one nephew, J. Ball.
SURVIORS: one son, Lee Thompson of Glennville; one daughter, Heather Thompson of Glennville; three brothers, James and Harry Thompson of Claxton and Donald Thompson of Lyons; three sisters, Betty Tapley of Girard, GA., Ann Sermons and Jan Ball of Claxton; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Friday, January 22, 2016, 10-11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
