James "Robbie" Brinson

COBBTOWN: James R. “Robbie” Brinson 31, passed away June 18, 2021 at his mother’s residence in Candler County. He was a native of Chatham County, and jgraduated from Calvary Day School in 2008. He also attended Georgia Southwestern State University and graduated from South University in Savannah, Ga. He was an avid golfer and lover of music and animals.
James was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Billy Blalock.

SURVIVORS: Mother and Step-Father, Karen and Reid Oates of Cobbtown; Sisters, Caroline Oates of Statesboro and Taylor Melvin of Tampa, Fl.; Grandmother, Dolores Blalock Meehan of Claxton; Aunt and Uncle, Sharon Blalock Elvins and Art Elvins of Savannah; Cousin, Jaime Rahn of Rincon; Special Friend, Stephanie Dyke of Savannah.
SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED DURING THE VISITATION AND FUNERAL DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

VISITATION: Monday, June 21, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
