James Dennis Jones

Claxton: James Dennis Jones, 58, passed away on November 11 2015 at
Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta Georgia, after battling an
intense critical illness. He was a native of Evans County Georgia
born, to Eddie and Betty Jones. He grew up in Waycross, Georgia with
his parents, brothers, and sister. He graduated from Ware County
High School and pursued a career in grocery store management. Up
until the time of his recent illness and death, he was employed as a
meat/ seafood market manager at the Bi-LO grocery store in Vidalia,
Georgia where he was loved and appreciated by those who worked with
him. He has lived in Claxton, Georgia for the past 17 years. His
church affiliation was of the Baptist faith. Dennis was a quiet and
gentle individual loved by many.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Eddie and Betty Jones; One daughter, Amie Jones of
St. Simons, Georgia; One son, William Jones; One Sister, Jamie
Bennett of Mershon, Georgia; Two Brothers, Michael Jones of Waycross,
Georgia, and Stephen Jones of Statesboro Georgia.
FUNERAL: A private memorial service will be held at Mellie NeSmith
Funeral Home in Claxton Georgia.
