CLAXTON: James W. (Jimmy) Leggett, 62, passed away July 23, 2015, at his workplace in Bulloch County. He was born in Savannah but moved to Evans County when he was in 7th grade. He graduated from the 1973 Class of Claxton High School and worked for Evans Concrete Company. Jimmy was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and a pecan farmer.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Ruth Hathaway Leggett.
SURVIORS: his wife, Becky Mosley Leggett of Claxton; two sons, Jesse (Mandi) Leggett and Jay (Amanda) Leggett, all of Claxton; two brothers, his twin, Charles Thomas (Suzanne) Leggett of Pembroke and Curtis Gary (Angie) Leggett of Claxton; one sister, Elizabeth Green of Rincon; four grandchildren, Jayda and Victoria Leggett of Claxton and Landon Mitchell and Lexi Leggett of Claxton; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Saturday, July 25, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., at Eastside Baptist Church Sanctuary.
FUNERAL: Saturday, July 25, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Eastside Baptist Church.
BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery, Hagan, GA.
