Jane Robinson Fitzgerald

CLAXTON: Jane Robinson Fitzgerald, 82, passed away March 14, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Ga.
Jane was born in Harlingen, Texas, on March 18, 1935, to Ida Brewton Robinson and Clarence Bason Robinson. The family relocated to Georgia when Jane was a child, to be closer to family. They eventually settled in Rochelle, Ga., where she lived all of her young life.
Jane was a graduate of Shorter College in Rome, Ga. She married in
1961 and settled in Atlanta, where she lived all of her adult life.
She enjoyed a long career in the Fulton County School System, was active in her church, and participated in social and professional activities.


SURVIVORS: Jane is survived by one son, James D. Fitzgerald, III, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews

FUNERAL: Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 16, at 11a.m. at Brewton Cemetery in Hagan.
