Janice Moon Deloach

TOWNSEND/CLAXTON: Janice Moon DeLoach, 64, passed away August 14, 2015, at her residence. The Barnwell, S.C., native had resided at Shellman Bluff, Ga., for the past 25 years. She was a member of the Shellman Bluff Baptist Church and retired after 18 years from the U.S. Post Office. Janice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Julia McKerley and step-son, Stacy DeLoach.
SURVIORS: her husband, Beecher DeLoach of Townsend; two sons, Shane and Channing Moon, both of Atlanta; three step-daughters, Donna (Mark) Dement of Register, Connie (John) Doepker of Brooklet and Bonnie (Joel) Thompson of Claxton; two step-sons, Scott and David Moon of Atlanta; two sisters, Rachel (Dewitt) Zorn and Lisa Sumrell, both of S.C.; one nephew, Leo Zorn; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: Monday, August 17, 2015, 1-3:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Monday, August 17, 2015, 3:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
