Judy Cardell Davis

CLAXTON: Judy Ann Davis, 75, passed away July 22, 2026, peacefully in her home. She was a native of Metter, Georgia, and traveled with her husband and children with the U.S Army before building a home in Claxton, Georgia. She was a homemaker and nurse. She loved her family, her cats, and baking.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, William Davis; daughter, Brooke Davis; her parents; and several siblings.

SURVIVORS: daughter, Brandy (Daryl) NeSmith of Kennesaw, Georgia; two sons, William Davis II of Claxton, Georgia and Lucas (Cindy) Davis of Midway, Georgia; sisters, Wanda Cardell and Betty Cardell; brother, Russell (Connie) Cardell; eight grandchildren, Shelbi NeSmith, Jessa (James) Monroe, Taylor (Jacob) Pederson, Nicholas NeSmith, Jordan Davis, Nathan NeSmith, Peyton Davis, and Knox Davis; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: Friday, July 24, 2026, 10:00 a.m., at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Friday, July 24, 2026, 11:00 a.m., at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
