Kay Strickland Snider

CLAXTON: Kay Strickland Snider, 85, passed away peacefully September 21, 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Kay served over thirty years as a nurse at the Evans County Health Department. She loved all her patients that she met and served for all those years. She also loved the sound of a big motor, watching her grandson Matthew at a truck pull, and adored all her grandchildren, her grand ‘puppies’, any and everything pink, and of course, Elvis.

She is preceded in death by her husband Tracy Snider.

SURVIVORS: daughter, Stacy (Ricky) McGlashan of Claxton, Ga.; son, Jerry (Kathleen) Snider of Statesboro, Ga.; grandchildren, Matthew McGlashan, Drew and Kaylee Snider.

The family wishes to thank her special caregivers, Michelle Brown, Betty Anderson, Courtney Barnard and Heather Sikes.
