Margie Rogers Gordy

CLAXTON / HILLVIEW: Margie Rogers Gordy, 85, passed away July 22, 2016, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. She was a lifelong resident of Tattnall County, and a member of Rogers Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Gordy was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ernest Gordy and her son, Carroll Gordy.
SURVIVORS: her brother, Jerry Rogers of Claxton; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Monday, July 25, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Monday, July 25, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Rogers Baptist Church Cemetery.
