CLAXTON: Michael “Mike” Jackson Burkhalter, 74, passed away August 12, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Polly Burkhalter.
SURVIVORS: son, Ryan (Amanda) Burkhalter of Statesboro, Ga.; daughter, Heather Gomez of Statesboro, Ga.; brother, Joe (Brenda) Burkhalter of Cobbtown, Ga.; sister, Cay Quattlebaum (John Farmer) of Milledgeville, Ga.; three grandchildren, Bailey Burkhalter, Logan and Mahaela Gomez; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Becky Burkhalter and Marga Cowart.
VISITATION: Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Claxton Primitive Baptist Church.
