OBITUARY
CLAXTON: Peggy Ann Easterling Hendrix, 80, passed away on January 15, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro after a long illness. She was a native of Pensacola, Florida, but lived in Evans County most of her life. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather; Elizabeth and Glenn Sikes, father J.T. Easterling; one sister, Delores Smith; two brothers, Ted Easterling and Jim Easterling and one Grandson, Clay Sapp.
SURVIORS: Her husband of 63 years, Delmas Hendrix; two daughters; Pam (Ray) Todd, Penny (Randy) Kennedy, both of Claxton; sons, Steve Hendrix and Clif Willis of Atlanta; one sister; Gloria (Rommie) Thompson; five grandchildren, Michele (John) Biggers, Amy (Richard) May, Matt (Angela) Todd, David (Chelsey) Kennedy, and Dustin Kennedy all of Claxton; five great-grandchildren, Trey May, Morgan Todd, Walker Todd, Payton Biggers and Braylee Kennedy.
