CLAXTON: Robert Jackson Milhous, 85, to his late wife Pansy’s grandchildren known as “Papa Jack” passed away January 4, 2020 at The Griffin House under the care of hospice. He was a native of Florida, but grew up in Waycross, Georgia. He graduated from Wacona High School and was second in his class and then went to work at Atlantic Coast Line. He went on to Palmer Chiropractor College. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Metter and retired from being a chiropractor in Metter for a number of years. Jack liked to fish and was an avid gardener. He was preceded in death by his wives: Pansy Lynn Milhous, Eva Sikes Milhous; brother, John Hubert Milhous; sisters, Varnetta (S.V.) Taylor, Urma (Earl) Fales

SURVIVORS: step son: Grey (Karen) Lynn of Manassas; step daughter’s: Kelly (Leonard) Fort of Glennville, Rainey Rushing of Claxton, Lisa (Tom) Jordan of Aiken, S.C.; brothers: Leon (Iris) Milhous of Alabama, Fred (Pat) Milhous of Bishop; sisters: Wilma Dell of Waycross, Ethel Elerson of Waycross Janice (Bob) McAllister; several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
