Timothy "Tim" Paul Stafford

CLAXTON: Timothy “Tim” Paul Stafford, 58, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Claxton, Georgia on April 4, 2024. He was born in Savannah, Georgia and was a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church in Savannah, Georgia.
Tim began his military career right after high school as a Corpsman in the United States Navy then transferred to the 165th Air National Guard Aerial Port Squadron as an Areial Port member until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling the world through his military career.
Tim was an avid reader, competitive fisherman, outdoorsman, as well as a devoted Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald D. Stafford; maternal grandmother, Gladys Bragg Rahn; paternal grandparents, Durward and Georgia Stafford.

SURVIVORS: mother, Lanell (Alan) Ketcham of Springfield, Ga.; sister, Beth (Rich) Kirby of Copperhill, Tn.; several special cousins.

FUNERAL: a military service will be held at a later date.
