Trent Raymond Hodges

CLAXTON: Trent Raymond Hodges, 38, passed away September 27, 2026, after a brief illness. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching football, the Little League World Series, and basketball. He enjoyed watching the Olympics and The Price Is Right with his grandmother. He loved his family with all his heart and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jimmy Rushing, Barney Durrence, and Ray Hodges; grandmother, Dorothy Hodges Holcomb; great-grandparents, Mona Lee Perry Allen, George Edward Perry, and Vera and Clinton Rushing.

SURVIVORS: the love of his life, Kimberly Sherman Hodges; mother and father, Andrea and David Clenny; brother, Justin Clenny; grandmother, Patricia Rushing Durrence; aunts and uncles, Amie and James Deal, Eide and Tim Nesmith, and Lena Hodges Kennedy; daughter, Megan Hodges; birth father, Orvil (Lynn) Hodges; father-in-law, Mike Evaniecki; as well as several cousins, Perri Deal, Erica Deal, Christopher Deal, Joshua (Taylor) Nesmith, and Jacob Nesmith.

VISITATION: Wednesday, September 30, 2026, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
