CLAXTON: Waldo Franklin Floyd, 74, passed away February 15, 2016, at his home. The Bryan County native had resided in Evans County since 1993. He was a construction worker until he retired from Local 542 in Philadelphia. He was a Mason in Hightstown, N.J., under lodge Apollo #41. He was preceded in death by his late brother W. Larry Floyd.
SURVIORS: his wife of 55 years, Grace Floyd of Claxton; two sons, Gregory (Mindy) Floyd of Levittown, PA., and Woodrow Floyd of Cranbury, N.J.; one daughter, Renee (Marty) Williams of Guyton; beloved grandson, Landon Williams of Guyton; one brother, Hubert Davis of Hillsborough, TX; one sister, June Thompson of Martinez, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Thursday, February 18, 2016, 6-8:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Friday, February 19, 2016, 2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Northside Cemetery, Pembroke, GA.,
