William "Billy" Robert Pevey

CLAXTON: William “Billy” Robert Pevey, age 76, passed away at his home, February 26, 2021. The Bryan County native was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Pembroke. He was a Mason, and member of Pembroke lodge 469 and served in the US Air Force. He retired after 41 years at Great Dane. He loved camping with his family while making many memories.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, James Erlis and India Wilma Pevey; two brothers, Jerry Richard Pevey and Fredrick Pevey: and one sister, Marian Pevey Ince.
SURVIVORS his wife of 55 years, Linda Joyce Pevey of Pembroke; son, William Lee (Melissa) Pevey of Pembroke; brother, Quinton Erlis Pevey of Ellabell; grandchildren, Garrett Chase Pevey of Mayesville, KY; Logan Montgomery Pevey of Pembroke; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
