CLAXTON: Willie C. Moore, 88, passed away November 29, 2015, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.
The Tattnall County native served in World War II and retired from Civil Service after 30 years. He then moved to Evans County in 1990 and served as a Deacon at Bull Creek Baptist Church. He lead the song service, he and wife, Alene. He inspired the congregation with the Lord’s music. He was a good Christian man, loving Jesus, his wife, and his family.
SURVIORS: his wife of 67 years, Alene Sikes Moore of Claxton; one daughter, Amy Laster of New Smyrna Beach, FL; grandchildren, Nick (Jessi) Laster, Natalie Laster, Nathan (Amber) and great-grandson, Gary Laster, all of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Tuesday, December 1, 2015, 1-2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Tuesday, December 1, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
